About Saint Gregory Choir

Learn about our history, mission, and the values that guide our musical ministry

Our History

Saint Gregory Choir was founded in 1985 by a group of dedicated parishioners at Saint John Bosco Catholic Church, Asaba. What began as a small group of 12 members has grown into a vibrant community of over 50 dedicated choristers.

Named after Saint Gregory the Great, a pope known for his contributions to Church music and Gregorian chant, our choir continues this rich tradition of sacred music in our modern liturgical celebrations.

Our Mission

To enhance the liturgical life of Saint John Bosco Parish through excellent sacred music that lifts hearts to God, fosters spiritual growth among members, and serves the community through musical ministry.
